This fixed term (2 year) Band 5 Data Analyst post will help the Glasgow Safe Haven support new data-driven health research projects.

The Glasgow Safe Haven is a partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the University of Glasgow, and provides secure access and support service for large NHS health datasets relating to citizens in the Glasgow region. 

The post holder will help extract data and quality check data packages for delivery to the Safe Haven secure analytics environments. The de-identified data is handled to the highest standards of data protection and governance to preserve patient privacy. The candidate will be well organised, demonstrate good accuracy, and have experience of working in information management and / or statistical teams.

We are looking for a degree qualification in a numerate subject and relevant experience of relational databases and querying data with SQL.

Experience of SQL Studio, NHS data standards, and an understanding of clinical information systems would be desirable.
