The Emergency Complex at Glasgow Royal Infirmary comprises the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit, managing up to 350 patients per day. The complex cares for a varied range of patients from the North East of Glasgow. An opportunity has arisen for experienced Emergency Nurses to apply for the position of Band 6 Charge Nurse/ENP, this is a permanent post.
You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group, competently performing the necessary technical, invasive and physical aspects of care. It is preferable that you hold the Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification and have a minimum of 5 years nursing experience. Applicants who do not possess the ENP qualification will have the opportunity to progress to appropriate training. Applicants should have previous experience of working in an Emergency Department.
The shift pattern is 11.5 hours rotational over 24 hours and 7 days.
