Post: Corporate Services Manager
Salary: NHS Agenda for Change Band 8B: £60,134 - £64,736 per annum
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours
Tenure: Permanent

Our Corporate Services Department is pivotal in running, managing and co-ordinating multiple aspects of Board business including the management of the Chair and Chief Executives offices.
We are now looking to appoint a new Corporate Services Manager who will be directly accountable to the Head of Corporate Governance and will be a senior member of the Corporate Team Structure, with several direct reports.
This post is one of 3 Corporate Services Managers covering a broad range of complex services on behalf of the Board. Key aspects include Complaints and Public Affairs, Legal Claims, FOI management, Whistleblowing, the governance process of the Board and its Standing Committees and external processes such as Public Inquiries and Investigations.
As the Corporate Services Manager you will be responsible for the performance, management and delivery of a range of functions within the relevant regulatory and governance frameworks ensuring compliance with those frameworks.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate specialist expertise and leadership in the management of legal claims, FOIs, business conduct and key Board policies, monitoring of performance across the whole of the NHS Board and will be required to establish robust links with services across the whole organisation .
The successful candidate will work closely with a range of stakeholders and staff including Clinicians, Directors and Non-Executive Board members as well as building external relationships with the NHSScotland Central Legal Office, Information Commissioners Office and the Scottish Government.
Candidates will be educated to or studying towards a master’s degree level and/or post graduate qualification level or have an equivalent professional qualification preferably in a business or management related field. Our ideal candidate will come with a significant level of management experience operating at a senior level preferable in the NHS and/or local government or a similarly complex organisation including people management, budgetary management and operational service delivery.
