You will lead on the design, implementation and evaluation of health improvement programmes of work designed to prevent new transmissions of HIV and address inequalities in sexual health in the affected populations of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde You should be educated to postgrad /masters degree level or with an equivalent portfolio of skills and experience health improvement/public health experience and have experience of management. You will be responsible for managing and in some cases commissioning multiple programmes of work, with a focus on improving population sexual health within Gay and Bisexual men and other men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, and other often vulnerable adult population groups who are at risk of HIV transmission and will be part of the wider Health Improvement Team within the Sandyford Sexual health Service and will demonstrate their track record in using their influencing skills for strategic planning, policy development and partnership working in relation to addressing inequalities in health, will be required to analyse, interpret and synthesise complex data and research and be able to present this in appropriate formats to diverse stakeholders to inform programme development and will ensure programme delivery across the six HSCPs in NHSGGC area, as well as with Acute services, community and third sector organisations and through online digital delivery modes.
