This post is based at Social Work Services, Orr Street, Bridgeton    

This post is a 30 hour, fixed term post for 12 months.


You will have the responsibility for the delivery of Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnerships Young Persons Guarantee Programme funded by Glasgow City Council. The programme will be embedded within Youth Health Services, Family Nurse Partnership, ESTEEM and Social Work Services operating in Glasgow City.


This specific post will report to the HSCPs Employability Lead, but will be hosted within the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) Service and will be supervised by the Team Lead Nurse at Drumchapel Health Centre.


You have the lead responsibility for the development and delivery of this programme providing strategic and operational leadership. You will be required to support young people tracking through FNP to reach a positive destination such as secure employment, volunteering, training, modern apprenticeships etc.


You will have responsible for establishing and sustaining links internally within Greater Glasgow & Clyde NHS Board and key external partners.




Qualifications

  • Educated to Degree or equivalent level
  • Certification in HANLON Client Management System (desirable)


Experience:

  • Project planning, management and implementation.
  • Partnership working and negotiation.
  • Project management.
  • Experience of working with young people who are vulnerable with complex issues / barriers
  • Experience of working in an employability related arena
  • Supervisory experience (desirable)


Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Employability pipeline and barriers to engagement


The shift pattern is; Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (days to be agreed)
