LOCUM CONSULTANT IN DERMATOLOGY

FULL TIME (10 PAs) FOR A 12 MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT

£84,984 - £112,925 per annum

The Department of Dermatology is looking for a Locum Consultant to join our enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking team and work with the existing consultants in continuing to provide a high quality Dermatology service for the Highlands. 

The successful candidate will be expected to work within the dermatology multidisciplinary team, providing a wide range of dermatology services.

Inverness is the Capital of the Highlands and enjoys a lifestyle and environment only dreamed of in other parts of the country.  Raigmore Hospital is a modern well-equipped district general hospital with 500 beds, which serves a catchment area covering the entire Scottish Highlands, Western Isles, and surrounding area. The Department of Medicine encompasses all major specialties. There’s a well equipped skin patient treatment unit staffed by specialist nurses, with UVB / PUVA equipment, along with facilities for dressings and minor surgery.  Dermatology patients with severe diagnoses requiring in-patient care are admitted under the joint care of dermatology and medical teams.  The Department of Dermatology also has a well equipped outpatient unit.
