Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Ref: 50910)
Substantive, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Band 7 - Salary Range £39,693 - £46,467 annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1895 per annum
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available

We are seeking a dynamic, highly effective and skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our Child Health Team in our remote and rural community in the far north of the UK. As an advanced practice level occupational therapist you will be responsible for provision of routine and specialist assessment, treatment and management of babies, children, and adolescents within their family, educational and social context, who present with a wide variety of conditions. These include chronic, complex, disabling and life limiting conditions across traditional physical and social care boundaries.
Through your leadership and change management skills you will contribute to the strategic development of the service. You will work as part of a strong and well-established multi-disciplinary team (based at the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick) and will be responsible for a Band 5 and Band 4 staff members.
