This post is fixed term for 12 months
The post will be based in the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit, The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow which is one of the major cancer clinical trials units in the UK (partner in Cancer Clinical Trials Unit Scotland NCRI Accredited Unit).
You will mainly work on a range of Phase 1 to Phase III cancer trials that the CTU coordinates. Main duties of the post will involve the collection and processing of data and organisation of clinical trials in cancer.
Applications are requested from candidates educated to degree level or equivalent, with a good knowledge of medical terminology, experience in a paramedical field, or extracting clinical data. Clinical research experience and knowledge of current legislation in the area, the NHS environment, and oncology field is essential.
The shift pattern is; Mon – Thurs 08:30-17:00 Fri 08:30-16:30
