The Emergency Complex at Glasgow Royal Infirmary comprises the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit, managing approximately 350 patients per day. The complex cares for a varied range of patients from the North East of Glasgow. We require a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse/ Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group, competently performing the necessary technical, invasive and physical aspects of care. It is essential that you are an Emergency Nurse Practitioner and competent or working towards extended roles including an independent prescribing qualification, clinical assessment. ECG recording, Venepuncture, Cannulation, IV medication administration is essential. Applicants should substantial previous experience of working in an Emergency Department.

The shift pattern is 11.5 hours rotational over 24 hours and 7 days.
