This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding mental health team based in HMP Shotts and to be involved in leading the psychological therapies service there.
This is a permanent part-time (0.5 wte) post. This post-holder will be part of the Forensic Clinical Psychology Service in NHS Lanarkshire and will be line managed by the the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, lead for this service.
The post-holder will  have a key role in supporting the delivery and governance of the psychological therapies service for prisoners in HMP Shotts, working alongside and supporting a Clinical Psychologist and a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology, as well as other members of the MDT. They will hold a small clinical caseload; provide clinical supervision to others delivering psychological interventions; provide consultation and support to other professionals; embed and oversee service evaluation processes; liaise closely with Team lead, Senior Nurse, MDT and SPS colleagues to ensure high quality healthcare is delivered.  They will support the lead for Forensic Clinical Psychology in strategic development of the psychological therapies service in HMP Shotts including training, supervision and co-ordination of therapies.
The post holder will have regular supervision and access to continuing professional development.
