To provide pharmaceutical technical services within all sections of the pharmacy department to patients attending or admitted to the hospital.
To support the Senior Pharmacy Technicians in the day-to-day running of dispensary and aseptic services.
To ensure the accurate, efficient and timely supply of discharge / out patient prescriptions, pharmaceutical stock and non-stock supplies to wards and departments.
As a trainee your pay is determined as a percentage of pay for qualified staff, in accordance with Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms and conditions. As you will be 2 years from completion of training you will receive 70% of the Band 5, maximum for qualified staff. On completion of your training you will be placed on either the first pay point of the appropriate pay band or the next pay point above your training salary.
