The District Nursing Service will undertake case management and skilled clinical interventions which encompass a broad spectrum of technical expertise, health education and health promotion in order to rehabilitate or promote and maintain independent living for patients and their support carers. You will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and you will support the District Nurse/charge nurse in delivering care to patients within the caseload. You should have evidence of continuing professional development and it would be desirable if you have a current driving licence.
