An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, motivated Health Visitors to join an evolving and supportive Health Visiting Service within NHSFV. The successful candidates will have recognised Public Health Nursing/ Health Visiting qualifications.
Candidates should be equipped with the essential skills, knowledge and experience to undertake assessment of wellbeing, health and development of children from pre-birth to pre-school age, as part of the delivery of Scottish Government Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
They should have a high standard of communication and organisational skills, and an ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. A basic knowledge of common IT systems and a willingness to work with partner agencies are also essential.
Candidates should have an interest in community development work, in working in partnership with nurseries and have a working knowledge of child protection systems.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post due to the geographical location.
