An opportunity has arisen within the Clyde Resuscitation Training Department for a Full-time band 7 Resuscitation officer. The post holder will be registered with NMC with 5 years minimum post registration experience. Currently working in an acute area of Health Care, e.g. ITU, CCU, A&E, HDU. The post holder must be currently engaged in providing education to a multi professional health care team within their own role and also teaching life support courses including deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest management on a regular basis. Qualifications will ideally include ILS/ALS instructor. An interest in paediatric resuscitation is desirable . A clear patient safety focus is paramount with excellent communication skills and leadership qualities 

The post holder will be responsible for supporting and delivering resuscitation and deteriorating patient education and related services across NHS GGC Clyde sector and will work closely with existing resuscitation officers to affect a robust service delivery.

The shift pattern is; 5 days  MON-FRI
