OLDER ADULT CMHT TEAM LEADER
OA CMHT - Nairn Town and County Hospital
Band 7 (£39,693 - £46,467) per annum pro rata
Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week

Due to service review we have a Team Leader vacancy within the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) within the Nairn/Badenoch & Strathspey Older Adult team. Join us at an exciting time of service review and change to lead the team through a process aimed at maximising the delivery of high quality evidence based care to older adults experiencing both functional and organic mental health problems.
The team, is based across 2 locations, Nairn Town & County Hospital and Rathven Aviemore which will later this year moving into the new build hospital in Aviemore, despite the geographical spread the team maintain excellent communication and close working supportive relationships with the wider OA CMHT.
We are seeking a leader who has a mental health nursing, social work or AHP qualification. In addition you will be able to demonstrate experience at the expert level as defined within the promoting excellence framework. You will have obtained significant older adult mental health experience at a senior level including experience of managing or supervising junior staff. You will be able to evidence ongoing professional development relevant to the role. Non-medical prescribing / willingness to undertake would be preferred as would a working knowledge of delivering service improvement initiatives.
For this post a driving licence and access to a car is essential.
A relocation package maybe available to the successful candidate.
