Senior Capital Projects Manager

This is a rare opportunity to join our team at a senior level and make a difference to the quality of the built environment for delivering healthcare.

We have recently reconfigured our Property & Capital Planning team to take account of developing workstreams and now have vacancies in several senior key roles. Comprising a team of property, asset management, development and construction professionals, we support front-line NHS services by the delivery of high quality design, development and construction solutions across our healthcare estate. Premises include acute hospitals, health & care centres, mental health facilities, together with supporting offices, labs and infrastructure.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Capital Project Manager to take responsibility for the client side management, development and delivery of a range of projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for a small team of project managers and have a minimum 5 years’ experience in the development of construction projects, including briefing, stakeholder management, financial management and procurement of consultants and contractors. To balance the existing team we are particularly interested in applicants who have a background in mechanical, electrical or other building services, although this is not essential.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm.
