This is an exciting opportunity to join the Front Door and Medical Physiotherapy Service within University Hospital Wishaw. The role requires an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a focus on quality service delivery and a service improvement approach.
The role covers front door, general medical, respiratory and cardiac services.
Takes a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge. Has responsibility for the supervision, education and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality.
Provides a specialised resource to other healthcare staff/patients/carers.
Has active involvement in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research
Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC registration
Educated to/working towards/operating at degree level
Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
