If you are looking for increased job satisfaction and an opportunity for professional development come and join Forth Valley Prison Healthcare. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Prison Healthcare Team within HMP Polmont.

As part of an extensive multi-disciplinary team and in conjunction with the Team Leader, you will contribute to and deliver a comprehensive Mental Health Service in partnership with Learning Disability, Primary Care and Addiction practitioners within the unique setting of a prison environment.

Applicants will be a first level registered Mental Health Nurse that can provide evidence of continual professional development. You will demonstrate experience of delivering high quality person–centred care as part of Multi-Disciplinary Team.

The ability to co-ordinate, and respond to dynamic situations with competing demands is essential. The applicant must be able to provide evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a member of clinical leads for the service, you will ensure standards of clinical practice are in line with national and local policy, and are maintained to highest quality. The role is largely clinical, but you will develop your people management and leadership skills with support from the Team Leader.

You will be expected to work 7 days per week shift pattern with occasional flexibility expected in line with service needs. No night shift.
