We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our enthusiastic, forward thinking team within Ward 11B ENT in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

 As part of this team you will have responsibility for assessment, delivery and supervision of all care needs within the ward environment. You will possess sound clinical skills for the assessment of patient's needs, implementation and evaluation of care which are evidence based.

 You will have the ability to work to high clinical standards in this fast paced environment. You are required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment.

A fundamental part of the role is to participate in communications as part of the Multidisciplinary team to enhance the patient journey.

You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse and should be able to work on your own merit supported by the wider nursing team.

 You should possess excellent communication skills and decision making skills with evidence of ongoing professional development. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you have evidence of continuing professional development.

Experience in ENT nursing is desirable  but not essential.

You may be expected to work in another clinical area when service needs are required.

The shift pattern for this post is 12 hour shifts day/night rotations and weekend working.
