Planned Care Directorate - Ward 52 Upper GI / General Surgery
Vacancies have arisen within ward 52 Planned Care for 1st level trained nurses.
You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible. You will be based in ward 52 which is predominantly a Green area for elective surgical patients covering all surgical specialities. There are also Amber patients who are emergency admissions for upper GI / General Surgery, it is expected that you may be asked to cover other areas within Planned Care wards as required.
Ward 52 is a busy 24 bed upper GI / General Surgery ward. You should be enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in upper GI / Surgical nursing. We are looking for good team players with excellent written and oral communicators. Evidence of continuing professional development and experience in acute nursing is essential. Extended skills such as IV administration, peripheral cannulation, care and maintenance central venous catheters and student mentorship would be preferred.
Salary will be pro rata for part time hours
