The Renal Dialysis Unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join its specialist team of haemodialysis nurses. The Unit provides an outpatient haemodialysis treatment area, plus a nephrology service for patients with chronic renal failure.
This post is open to Registered Nurses with an interest in caring for patients with renal failure. Haemodialysis experience and a broad knowledge of renal nursing is desirable but not essential: teaching and training will be provided.
Individuals must be motivated and enthusiastic with a keen interest in nursing patients undergoing renal replacement therapy.
This innovative Unit offers exciting new opportunities for individuals to enhance and develop specialist skills. Opportunities for developing research-based practice in the haemodialysis setting is actively encouraged and supported.
