Working for the eHealth Contracts and Procurement Team within the eHealth Directorate your role is to manage, monitor and improve eHealth procurement and contract management throughout NHSGG&C.  The role is also responsible for establishing consolidated services, identifying potential financial savings and achieving best value for money contracts while adhering to SFIs (standing financial instructions) and procurement legislation. 


Educated to HND level with specific IT / Procurement content or equivalent experience with a professional qualification in purchasing and supply eg CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply).

Developing and maintaining positive supplier relationships to provide on-going opportunities to improve purchasing initiative, including negotiation with suppliers and senior staff is a key element of the role.

A proven approach to organisation, administration, documentation and workload prioritisation with demonstrable proactive initiative is essential.
