COMMUNITY EQUIPMENT SERVICE ASSISTANT STOREKEEPER
Band 2 - £18,786 - £20,812 pro rata
plus Distant Islands Allowance £1074 per annum pro rata
(22.5 hrs) Permanent Post
We are recruiting to the Community Equipment Service and seek a enthusiastic and motivated Community Equipment Service Assistant Storekeeper. This service is delivered jointly by the NHS Western Isles Health Board and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. The Community Equipment Service is an equipment purchasing, trial, delivery and uplift service to patients in the Western Isles. The job involves the transportation, cleaning, fitting, demonstration and checking correct use of equipment for patients in their own homes. There is a wide range of specialist equipment ranging from hand held items to community beds.
Experience of care provision, a full UK driving licence, competent IT and communication skills are essential. The post is open to both female and male applicants.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). This post is not eligible for relocation assistance. SHOW website: www.show.scot.nhs.uk
