Job Advert

To provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service for medical staff in theatres and anaesthetics covering inpatient and day case theatres in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Victoria ACH and Gartnavel General Hospital (may require cross site covering). The administrator must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff including surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, coordinators and administrators. Awareness of data protection and patient confidentiality. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to demonstrate an all-round professional attitude, and have the ability to work independently whilst being part of a larger team and be able to use your own initiative. This is a 30 hour post, worked Mon-Fri 0800am -2.30pm hours (30 min lunch)

There are two posts available – one in VACH ACH theatres and one in GGH theatres however the post holders will be expected to provide cross cover over our three sites.  The posts are 30 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1430.  Due to the expected high volume of applications this post may have an earlier closing date.  Please specify on application form which would be your preferred location.  Informal contact:  Margaret Gavin, Administration Manager 0141 452 3428 / 07813 533002 ​​​​​​​
