This 8 session post is based in the East Renfrewshire CMHT which covers East Renfrewshire HSCP. This post is an excellent opportunity to provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for adults with moderate-severe mental health difficulties. The postholder will be a member of East Renfrewshire CMHT and the South Area Psychology adult mental health service. The post provides highly varied clinical work with a range of presentations requiring approaches where Psychology provides the main intervention and also those that require joint working as part of a multi-disciplinary approach. The South Area has a well-established record of effective multi-disciplinary working and the post provides good development opportunities within a supportive multi-disciplinary environment. The postholder will enjoy regular professional support as a member of the large and dynamic South Psychology service, and will benefit from our in-house CPD programme and strong professional support network. The postholder will receive support and supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Applicants should have post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996), post-doctoral clinical experience and training, and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
