Band 8B Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapy Sector Lead Post for North
An amazing opportunity has arisen as a result of recent service changes to allow us to announce 2 Adult Acute sector leadership roles in NHSGGC as part of the Older People and Stroke Service. One post will be based in the North of Glasgow with leadership for 4 hospitals while the other will be based in Clyde providing leadership for 3 hospitals. Both sectors have busy acute in patients services and also deliver exciting new models of care to our outpatient population.
As an Acute Sector Lead you will be credible leader responsible for the strategic leadership of all grades of staff within a designated sector providing planning, development and service improvement in a board wide context. Having delegated responsibility for budgetary control: recruitment: workforce planning: service productivity: operational procedures and clinical governance within the sectors.
You will have a proven track record of delivering services that are evidence based and a strong influencer who can effect change whilst supporting the aims of the organization. The post holder will report to the Clinical Service Manager/Speech and Language Adult Acute Service

It is essential you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with current HCPC registration.
These posts are part of a service that works 5 days over 7 with a rota for weekend and public holiday cover.
