The Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services teams provide a range of support, treatment and care to individuals with alcohol and/or drug dependence issues. As a Nurse Team Leader (NTL) you will have responsibility for the nursing clinical leadership, line management of Band 6 nurses, and operational management of an integrated health and social care team. The post holder will support the Operational Manager in managing the effective deployment of the nursing resource within the team and supporting functions.


It is essential that you will have completed training as a First Level Registered Nurse and have a valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. A minimum of 2 years’ experience at Band 6 in a community setting and evidence of post registration study that is relevant to the role is essential. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a management qualification or completion of a course of study aimed at increasing management expertise and leadership qualities is essential. A track record of innovation and practice development is desirable.
