An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pharmacy Technician, registered with the GPhC, to join the NHS Fife Pharmacy Governance Team, based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.  This post is offered on a Fixed Term or Secondment basis for 12 months (maternity cover).

You will be self motivated with a wide range of experience gained through Community, Primary Care or Hospital pharmacy.  The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.  This is a varied and exciting role which requires an individual with energy and flexibility, capable of working on a wide range of tasks, services and projects, often simultaneously.  These include Urgent Care Services Fife (UCSF), vaccine services and the cold chain, Controlled Drug checks and destructions, Medical Gases and pharmaceutical waste. 

This post requires you to hold an SQA Accuracy Checking Technician qualification or be willing to undertake it early in your new post. You will also have an HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management, an equivalent qualification or proven experience.

This is a full-time post with a requirement to work as part of the NHS Fife rota across 7 days to meet service requirements.  You must also have the ability and willingness to travel as this post involves frequent travel throughout Fife.
