We have an exciting opportunity to join our Haematology Nursing Team, based at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. This is a dynamic team delivering a seamless, quality service for patients diagnosed with haematology cancers. The role necessitates working closely with all disciplines throughout the patient pathway from diagnosis onwards.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they have experience in caring and supporting patients and their families and enabling them to make informed decisions. The candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have the required communication and organisational skills and have knowledge of the haematology nursing.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist, Haematology Consultants and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will play an active part in clinical practice, audit, education, service improvement and the implementation of national guidelines.
