There is an opportunity to join our expert imaging team at the QMRI facility. You would have the opportunity to work on cutting edge equipment and take part in innovative research.

There are vacancies within our imaging team. You should be a radiographer, ideally with cross sectional imaging experience. Experience in research and CT and/or MRI imaging is desirable (Cardiac CT/MRI in particular). Training will be provided if necessary.

The vacancy is to work within our core areas of PET-CT and CT or MRI and PET-MRI. There will be the opportunity to expand to all areas as you gain experience.

Your role will be to support both research and clinical activity. This primarily includes imaging tasks, but also data management, administration and additional support for research projects.

You should have technical expertise and knowledge, along with a methodical and organised approach to your work. The ability to work within a close team is essential and you must be committed to providing the highest quality of service to patients, research participants and colleagues.

The imaging team are expected to be proactive regarding further education and CPD. To fully contribute to the team a valid interest in medical research is essential.

Flexible working will be required as workload demands, such as evening or weekend scanning. Consideration will be given to interest in part time working. 

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
