Medical Administrator/Receptionist, Band 2


10 Hours per week



Salary Scale: £18,600 - £20,606 per annum pro rata



An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at Maryfield Medical Centre in Dundee.


Maryfield Medical Centre operates under a 2C arrangement within NHS Tayside and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward thinking and proactive Receptionist who will work in partnership with the Practice Manager, Administrative and Clinical teams.


The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to provide a full and comprehensive reception, appointments and records service to patients and staff at the practice.  You should possess excellent keyboard, organisational and clerical skills. Knowledge of general office duties preferably gained in a health care environment would be preferred, although this is not essential.


It is important that you can work as part of a team and a degree of flexibility will be required with regards to work patterns. It is essential that you enjoy working with the public, have good interpersonal skills and a friendly and welcoming manner.  There may be a requirement to work across other 2C practices in Dundee should the need arise.
