An exciting 1.0wte temporary opportunity is available for a Band 6 Dietician to join the Skye House Adolescent Inpatient Unit.  The primary role would be to provide Dietetic advice and support to children and young people and their families to support them to recovery.  You will work closely with colleagues in the Skye House team and Tier 3 CAMHS teams. You are required to be HCPC registered and experience within Mental Health or Paediatrics is desirable.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic team and is looking to develop your skills.  You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with staff as well as children, young people and their carers. 

Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support good practice.


This is a temporary post for one year and secondment is welcomed.  Please ensure your current manager is in agreement with this prior to submitting your application.
