As a Deputy Charge Nurse based in Ward 2, Woodland View you will be accountable for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for a defined caseload of patients.
Ward 2 is a busy 30 bed Older Adult Complex Care, Palliative Care and End of Life Care Ward. You must have experience at band 5 level and a desire to develop leadership and management skills. You must be a 1st level Registered Nurse with a genuine interest in rehabilitation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are also essential. You will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team showing commitment and dedication to deliver a high quality service for our patients. Evidence of lifelong learning and continuous professional development is also essential. Your hours will be flexible, working a mix of long and short shifts, day or nightshift depending on needs of the service.
Please note this post is not within the mental health wards within Woodland View.
