We have exciting career opportunities available for appropriately experienced pharmacists ready to advance their career and develop leadership and clinical skills within the pharmacy team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert.
There are two band 7 positions available- the first is a permanent 37.5 hours per week clinical post working between general medicine and women and children’s services. This is a redesigned post, and would see you cover different medical specialities including respiratory, gastroenterology, endocrine and infectious diseases. It would also give you the opportunity to be trained and work in the Women and Children’s Directorate, which would include covering the neonatal and paediatric wards.
The second post is a fixed term 10 month position in Acute Medicine, where you would be based in the acute admissions unit, working with the pharmacy and wider multidisciplinary teams to deliver pharmacy services at the front door.
Both positions offer the opportunity to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills, and contribute to managing change and improving services, therefore preparing you for advanced practice. The postholders will also be expected to contribute to on call, weekend and public holiday rotas. On your application, please say whether you want to be considered for one or both positions.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacists to make a difference and contribute to transforming hospital services and improving patient outcomes.
