  • To provide high quality, expert direct clinical care which encompasses specialised paediatric occupational therapy assessment, treatment, advice and management of children referred to the service.
  • To take a lead role within a particular clinical area and to supervise and train designated occupational therapy staff and students.
  • To initiate and support clinical effectiveness activities to extend professional practice within paediatric occupational therapy.
  • To support the strategic, operational and professional management of the occupational therapy service as a senior member of the staff team.
