Job Advert
We are looking for two experienced Occupational Therapists for Children and Young People to support the Team Lead and current staff group. You would be working within a well established and welcoming service in Dumfries and Galloway. Our main base is at The Willows, a purposely redesigned multi disciplinary Children and Family’s Centre, set in the beautiful Crichton grounds.
We provide therapy and support to children and families in community settings across the large, rural region of Dumfries and Galloway. We work closely with colleagues in health, education and community services ensuring that our children and families experience multi agency practice. We are committed to providing excellent support to our staff, encouraging personal and professional development.
You will provide a specialist occupational therapy service within a range of children from 0 – 18 years old. Along with the Team Lead, you will be committed to supporting and leading change within the service. You will demonstrate a sound knowledge of clinical and strategic drivers both nationally and locally.
You will need to be flexible, be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively. You will be committed to service improvement and work independently whilst still being part of a dynamic team. A car driver is essential as extensive travel will be required due to the geography of the region.
There are two posts available. Post 1 is 30hpw and Permanent. Post 2 is 37.5hpw and Fixed Term until 31/03/22.
