Would you like to live and work on the beautiful Island of Skye?  Then we have just the job for you.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Highland Health and Social Care Team.  We are looking to recruit a full time deputy manager /senior staff nurse to provide leadership to the nursing and care team in Home Farm Care Home, and support the registered manager in ensuring high quality care to the 38 residents, along with a comprehensive staff team, which includes nurses, carers, and ancillary staff.

The Senior Staff Nurse/Deputy Manager is responsible for the clinical care they provide within the home, ensuring quality and standards of care are implemented as agreed with the Registered Manager.

The post holders should strive to continually improve care pathways for residents, their carers, and families, when utilising community services in conjunction with other statutory and voluntary services.   They will develop and maintain care plans, ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the needs of the residents and, in conjunction with the Registered Manager, ensure efficient operational management of the home on a day to day basis, and will deputise for the registered manager in their absence.
