Band 6 Radiographer - General/Fluoroscopy/Interventional

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, dedicated and passionate Radiographer to join our existing friendly Radiographic team.

You will have clinical experience in General Radiography and Fluoroscopy and will demonstrate a commitment to personal development.

This post will be based at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. The general department is located over two areas within the hospital. PH2 radiology consists of 3 general x-ray rooms, 1 Carestream DR room,1 Fuji DR room, 1 Philips CR room. There is also a dental suite and one Philips fluoroscopy room. PH 3 radiology is situated in the A/E acute admissions wing of the hospital and comprises of 2 Fuji DR general rooms one also incorporates an OPT,3 DR mobile and 4 CR mobile units.

The department’s main Radiology IT systems are Fuji CR, Carestream PACS, TRAK and CRIS.

You will work in partnership with the site Superintendent Radiographer and Interventional Superintendent Radiographer to provide a high quality, patient centered, safe service for inpatients, outpatients and GP patients. Participation in Clinical Audit is an expectation of this post.

Participation in “public holiday” rota is a requirement of this post. There is no Out of Hours commitment with this post.
