Salary Scale £40,872 - £47,846 per annum

We are looking for a self-motivated registered nurse who has a genuine interest in Ophthalmology and is committed to the needs and the development of the service.  The post holder with the support of the current 2 WTE nurse injectors and the senior charge nurse and will be responsible for the delivery of care within the setting. The post holder will be required to independently deliver intravitreal injections which require dexterity and accuracy for patients in Macular clinics providing treatment with intravitreal injections. In house training is available to gain competency in the delivery of intra vitreal injections.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate good organisation and communication skills. This post holder will facilitate change within the delivery of the service. Knowledge and experience in Ophthalmology are essential.

You are required to be adaptable as it’s a diverse area to work. In addition to the delivery of the injection service the registered nurse will partake in all aspects of care and service delivery within the EOPD.

The hours are worked to suit the needs of the service.
