We are looking to appoint two Healthcare Support Workers for an initial period of six months to support the safety station at the University Hospital Monkland’s main entrance. The safety station is the first point of contact for visitors to the site. Each post is available for 30 hours per week.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/department environment.
Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.
