An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Allied Health Professional (AHP) to join our NHS Tayside Children Young People & Families (CYP&F) AHP Services working as part of the AHP Leadership Team. This post provides the opportunity to operationally manage the AHP Services (Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) across Tayside. The current vacancy is to operationally manage the CYP&F Speech and Language Therapy Service but this may change in the future depending on the need.
Alongside the operational management responsibilities the post holder will demonstrate excellent leadership skills to drive forward transformational change. The post holder will proactively work to continue building on our implementation of Ready to Act as we continue to transform with an increasing focus on community care including a strategic shift towards a population approach which includes early intervention and prevention.
The successful candidate will have leadership experience and will be educated to Masters level or have equivalent experiential learning and be an AHP registered with the HCPC.
The post holder will be based in one locality but may be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside and be willing to travel to a number of sites.
