The Occupational Health and Safety team at NHS Dumfries and Galloway are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Health and Safety Technician who holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety to join their excellent team based at Mountainhall Treatment Centre in Dumfries. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of Health and Safety activities such as manual handling, conflict management, face mask fit testing, health surveillance and other health and safety work. The successful candidate will support and work closely with the current specialist H&S advisers within the team to ensure a great quality of service to NHS staff and other employers across the region. The post holder is required to travel independently across the region, and occasionally outwith the region, to provide Occupational Health and Safety services such as health surveillance work and to deliver specialist training workshops.
