Can you help us deliver high quality injectable medicines to our patients?

We require an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our aseptic unit team.

The Pharmacy department in the QEUH is a state of the art, purpose built facility that makes use of modern technologies including robotics. Our aseptic unit produces more than 50,000 items per year including those prepared under our Manufacturer’s Special (MS) License. Your duties will include final check and release of aseptically prepared items, formulation of complex parenteral nutrition, facilitating set-up of clinical trials and education and training of Pharmacists rotating through the Aseptic unit.

You must be registered with the GPhC. Previous aseptic experience is desirable, as well good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. 

This is a part time post 30 hours per week which will be worked Monday-Thursday. The post includes weekend working on a rota basis as well as participation in the on-call and public holiday rotas
