We are looking for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Community Adult Assessment and Rehabilitation Service (CAARS).
This post will complement our existing Band 4 workforce within the team (Band 4 staff must have experience of working at Band 3 level within health and social care, community and or hospital settings).
CAARS is a multi disciplinary service comprising different Allied Health professionals and the successful applicants would play a vital role in delivering, and supporting Occupational Therapists to deliver, a service to adults within their own homes.
This additional post will enable the service to further develop our Occupational Therapy provision to those within the frailty pathway and will be integrated into the existing Team.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about Occupational Therapy practice and welcome the opportunity to develop their skills and competencies in relation to frailty and community rehabilitation.
The successful applicant will be required to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in harmony with team members across the broader AHP team.
Training and support for professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support safe practice.
Candidates should be aware that there will be a requirement to travel therefore holding a full driving licence, with access to a car, is essential for these posts.
