An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our community-based therapy team within the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership.
The post-holder will undertake a range of occupational therapy services within the Multi-disciplinary Hub team; including assessment and care management of people’s needs, promoting Home First and supporting people to live in the community. These services are provided in accordance with current legislation and EHSCP procedures and standards.
The post holder will act independently to provide a comprehensive specialist service of assessment and treatment to a complex range of patients referred. They will also be expected to support assistant staff and supervise students.
The successful applicant will provide direct clinical care in the community, which encompasses effective and relevant Occupational Therapy assessment, treatment and management of those referred to the Service.
