BAND 7 HIGHLY SPECIALIST PHYSIOTHERAPIST – 18.75 HRS/ WEEK PERMANENT JOBSHARE (WED –FRI)
ANCHOR UNIT ABERDEEN ROYAL INFIRMARY
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a permanent band 7 physiotherapist to support the oncology and haematology team within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
You will work with a variety of adult patients with oncology and haematology conditions and will need to have the skills to assess complex and holistic needs.
The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in delivering complex care within an in patient setting and a passion for cancer care. You will need excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills. You will be a self-motivated practitioner who will inspire confidence in others and be an advocate for patients and their family. You will need to able to work autonomously but also as part of a multi-disciplinary team. As the lead physiotherapist for acute cancer care you will be required to support and educate a variety of students and colleagues.
The candidate must be able to work as part of an established job share, covering the latter half of the week. Cross site support to Roxburghe House to provide leave cover is also part of this role. This role will also support the departmental on call and respiratory weekend working rotas.
