An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Innovation and Improvement Advisor to lead and support a range of high profile projects with the Unscheduled Care Programme in Forth Valley.  This post will support NHS Forth Valley, working with Clackmannanshire and Stirling and Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnerships to deliver organisational priorities, with a particular focus on approaches that add value to the services that we provide. 

A key aspect of your role will be engaging with clinicians and other stakeholders to support improvement programmes and projects in acute, interface, community and primary care. These will focus on the Unscheduled Care 6 Essential Actions and other related programmes/projects. Your responsibilities will also include building improvement capability and capacity. NHS Forth Valley, working with our H&SCPs and West of Scotland Regional Planning, is also a Test Bed for health and care innovation.

These areas of work require passionate and experienced individuals confident to lead and support improvement in a complex system. We are looking for well motivated people, educated to degree level or equivalent training in improvement science or have equivalent extensive practical experience of supporting innovation and improvement programmes. You will need to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills. 

Ideally you should have experience of working in health and care and evidence of considerable experience in innovation, service improvement and change management in large complex organisations. You will be expected to work at locations across NHS Forth Valley.

You will be able to evidence experience in project planning, management and reporting. 

We are looking for creative thinking and innovation skills, particularly in multi-agency and whole systems and ability to challenge the norm and test assumptions of others to develop new ideas and ways of working.
