Trainees are paid a percentage of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate which is dependent on the duration of the training period (see Terms and Conditions).
We are looking to expand and develop our team of ANNPs, come and join us! A vacancy has arisen in the Neonatal Unit at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy for Trainee Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner(s) at Band 7 level (paid as Annex 21 throughout training period) to join our Neonatal care team.
Our modern and friendly Neonatal Unit consists of 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency and 14 Special Care cots, and provides extensive experience of a full range of special, high dependency and intensive neonatal care.
You will be a qualified and experienced neonatal nurse with excellent communication, prioritisation and problem solving skills and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to deliver a high standard of evidence based newborn care and use a holistic approach to the provision of family centred care.
You will be supported to undertake academic training to become a qualified ANNP and will be supported in gaining clinical skills and experience throughout the neonatal and maternity units.
An up to date knowledge of evidence-based practice, and a commitment to learning and the delivery of clinically effective care are essential.
