An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Audiology Department at Kings Cross Hospital in Dundee. We are a very busy department and offer a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative, routine and complex Audiological services to Paediatric and Adults. The Department delivers an Audiology service across 3 other localities and also offers domiciliary visits for those patients who cannot attend hospital appointments.
The role of an Assistant Audiologist is very varied and encompasses both clinical and administrative duties. Primary duties will include performing hearing aid repairs both face to face with patients and via the post, receiving phone calls from patients and professionals, and stock control.
The Ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and empathy with regard to the problems hearing impairment brings.
The post may be based at Perth Royal Infirmary, this will be agreed with the suitable applicant.
