A vacancy has arisen within the Resuscitation Training Department for a QI Lead for the Resuscitation & Deteriorating Patient Service.  We are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual who holds a Generic Instructor Certificate and/or Advanced Life Support/Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor status. Additionally, they should have an advanced QI qualification such as ScIL or SQSF or equivalent.  The successful applicant should have the necessary advanced leadership skills and attributes in order to lead and manage the Resuscitation Service, providing specialist subject matter knowledge, expertise and training in all aspects of adult, paediatric resuscitation and simulation to all clinical and relevant non-clinical staff.  They will be expected to influence and collaborate with a range of stakeholders across NHS Ayrshire & Arran to progress the Deteriorating Patient Quality Improvement Agenda in order to improve focused work to deliver safe, effective and person centred care.
